In a bold move to redefine Africa’s creative economy, NoSART 2025—the Nollywood/South Africa Actors Roundtable—emerges as a continental summit of unmatched resonance, convening Africa’s foremost actors, producers, and industry gatekeepers in Johannesburg, South Africa. Spearheaded by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and the South African Guild of Actors (SAGA), this historic roundtable is not just your regular gathering—it is a pan-African blueprint for cultural equity. Focused on the critical themes of collective bargaining, royalties, and residuals, NoSART 2025 seeks to confront outdated financial models and champion a fairer future for African talent across borders. This is a movement to institutionalize value, dignity, and sustainability for actors in Africa’s thriving film landscape.
This landmark convergence of stakeholders in Africa’s film and television industry, designed to initiate transformative conversations around royalty structures, collective bargaining frameworks, and creative sustainability will hold from July 9th to 13th, 2025 at Mercure Hotel Bedfordview, Johannesburg. The 5-day event will feature studio and city tours, roundtable discussions, exclusive masterclasses, networking sessions, and a prestigious cocktail & awards night.
Objectives
1. To advocate and formulate continental frameworks for actor royalties, residuals, and intellectual property rights.
2. Promote collaboration and standardize best practices among actor unions across African nations.
3. Initiate meaningful engagement with governments and creative industry stakeholders toward legislation that protects and empowers actors continent-wide.4. Provide actors with actionable knowledge and tools for long-term career monetization and brand growth.

Beverly Osu
Beverly Osu is a celebrated Nigerian actress, model, and TV personality known for her bold screen presence and advocacy for creative expression. With numerous film and television credits, she has become a voice for young African talents, blending charisma with industry insight. Beverly brings sharp communication skills and continental appeal to her role as NoSART 2025 Moderator.
Hungani Ndlovu
Hungani Ndlovu is an award-winning South African actor, dancer, and co-founder of the SANS Group, known for championing youth empowerment through the arts. Renowned for his work on-screen and in advocacy spaces, Hungani combines passion, intellect, and poise—making him a fitting moderator to guide transformative conversations at NoSART 2025.
